Porcupine Tree - In Absentia

"In Absentia" é o sétimo álbum de estúdio da banda Porcupine Tree, e foi lançado em 2002. Foi o primeiro lançamento da banda em uma grande gravadora, a Lava Records.

Esse é o 1o. álbum com a participação do atual baterista da banda, Gavin Harrison, que substituiu Chris Maitland. Também é o primeiro álbum a ter um som mais pesado, fazendo uma transição do som anterior da banda, que flertava mais com o rock psicodélico e o trance.

"Hormoaning" é um EP do Nirvana, lançado em 1992, pela Geffen Records.
Este EP foi lançado apenas na Austrália e no Japão, durante a turnê da banda nestes dois países.

Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet

"Fear of a Blank Planet" é o nono álbum de estúdio da banda Porcupine Tree, e foi lançado em 2007. Considerado um dos maiores sucessos comerciais da banda, teve a participação de Alex Lifeson (Rush) num solo de guitarra na música "Anesthetize", e de Robert Fripp (King Crimson) na música "Way Out of Here".

O álbum ganhou o prêmio de "Álbum do Ano" em 2007 da revista Classic Rock magazine, sendo a segunda vez que a banda ganha esse prêmio (a primeira foi com o álbum de 2005, "Deadwing"). "Fear of a Blank Planet" também foi nomeado para um prêmio no Grammy de 2007 na categoria de "Melhor Álbum com Som Surround". O baterista Gavin Harrison foi eleito pelos leitores da revista Modern Drummer o prêmio de "melhor baterista de rock progressivo do ano", consecutivamente em 2007 e 2008.

Porcupine Tree - Voyage 34: The Complete Trip

"Voyage 34: The Complete Trip" é um álbum da banda britânica de rock progressivo Porcupine Tree. Foi lançado originalmente como 2 singles de 12 polegadas, em edição limitada: "Voyage 34 (Phase I + II)" em 1992, e "Voyage 34: Remixes (Phase III + IV)", em 1993. A versão remasterizada foi lançada em 2000 e entitulada "Voyage 34: The Complete Trip", contendo todas as 4 músicas.

A faixa "Voyage 34" foi originalmente gravada para ser lançada no álbum "Up the Downstair", mas deixada de lado no produto final.

Apesar de ser praticamente todo instrumental, "Voyage 34" pode ser considerado um álbum conceitual, onde a viagem de LSD feita por um jovem chamado Brian é contada através de depoimentos durante a música. Musicalmente o álbum é uma fusão única de rock progressivo, rock psicodélico e trance music.
